What if earth would be flat

A simple but quite complicated question comes in the mind of children IS EARTH IS FLAT but not it is spherical but what would happen if earth will be flat? But if earth would be flat you will think we will fall in the outer space at the edge of the flat earth but if earth would be flat when ever we shall try to the edge of the earth its hight will rise up and you will fall at the center and when will shall be abled to reach the corner or side edge we will find we are standing on the normal surface this is due because if earth would be flat the area far from the center will act like a tilted building. And it will be difficut to stand on that.Thanks for support
